The Paganini Curse book launch and contest news

Hello,

February continues to bring good news.

First of all, I’ve received many congratulations on the publishing of The Paganini Curse. Book sales are growing steadily, and I’m planning a series of events to get the word out about the book to a wider audience. As a reminder, The Paganini Curse is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble in print and ebook. I appreciate your feedback and good wishes.

And I’m excited to announce that my Maestro Leloir mystery, Final Adagio, won the Grand Prize in the San Francisco Writers Conference Contest. This is a great honor for me, and great timing as Final Adagio is in the formatting stage for publishing as an ebook in March. Also, there’s literary agent interest, and I’ll keep you posted if there are any further developments.

  Great news!

My YA music mystery novel, The Paganini Curse, is now available on

amazon-com-logo and logo_BARNES

The Paganini Curse is the first book in my Aurora Lewis Series, featuring fifteen-year-old violinist and sleuth Aurora Lewis.

Set in 1911 New York City, The Paganini Curse is chilling tale woven with musical intrigue, in which Aurora must use  her ingenuity and determination to find a murderer—before she becomes the next victim.

Praise for The Paganini Curse:

“Giselle Stancic has a unique and lyrical touch with music, history, and the angst and passions of the young. … The music, the mystery,     the wonderful characters combine to make an entertaining and touching novel.” —Shelley Singer, author of Blackjack and the Jake Samson and Barrett Lake mysteries

Order your copy now on Amazon or Barnes & Noble, available in softcover, hardcover, and ebook. Then let me know your comments and feedback.

Upcoming concerts

I’m a clarinetist in the Peninsula Symphony and our next concert set is an all-Tango Program.

January 18 at the Fox Theater in Redwood City, January 19 at Flint Center in Cupertino.

Great music, special guest artists, and live tango dancing. A fun event if you’re in the SF Bay Area.

“All of the passion and magic of Tango! comes to our stage, with Quartet San Francisco (and its founder, violinist Jeremy Cohen), colorful tango dancers Sandor & Parissa, and the Symphony all combining for an electrifying evening of classic and new tangos.”

Welcome

Happy 2013 everyone and welcome to Music Mysteries, featuring the music mystery novels of Giselle Stancic.

Just a couple of quick updates on my soon to be published novels:

The Paganini Curse, the first book in my Aurora Lewis Series for Young Adult readers, is in final proofing and will be available in January 2013. Stay tuned for the launch announcement coming soon.

Final Adagio, my music mystery featuring conductor/detective Maestro Auguste Leloir, is being prepped for publication on Kindle and other E-readers in February. Exciting times to be a new author!

Feel free to give your feedback and share your ideas with me and other fans of music and mysteries.

I hope you enjoy your visit and come back often.
