The Paganini Curse updates

Hi,

A few updates from this week:

Reach and Teach in San Mateo had its Grand Opening this weekend. And The Paganini Curse is available there in the YA section.

I’ve been doing a few Open Mics lately and found this article on the CWC Fremont Area Writers Club web site to be helpful.

I’ve been visiting local music schools to let folks know about The Paganini Curse. It’s exciting to see all the students so interested in learning about classical music.

Regards,

Giselle

A couple of pictures from the Local Author Day at Hicklebee’s in Willow Glen.

Very fun with a big audience and great group of authors. There are still a few signed copies of The Paganini Curse at the store if you couldn’t make it to the event.

Thanks, Hicklebee’s!

Book reading

Last night I did a book reading at the Barnes & Noble in San Jose/Almaden as part of the CWC South Bay Open Mic Series. The feedback was very positive and folks particularly liked the historical setting of the book and Aurora’s “inquisitive” personality. I’ll keep you posted as other readings come up in the future.

I’ll also be exhibiting “The Paganini Curse” at BookExpo America in NYC in late May as part of the New Title Showcase.

All exciting stuff with more to come!

Thanks for dropping by.

The Paganini Curse – latest news

Hi,

I had the opportunity to talk about The Paganini Curse at my CWC South Bay Writers Club meeting. (I’m in the blue shirt.)

JPEG

My news announcement about publishing The Paganini Curse and  Final Adagio winning the Grand Prize at the San Francisco 2013 Writers Conference Contest also appeared in the club newsletter, April Accolades p. 5.

The Paganini Curse has been added to the public library YA collections in Mountain View, CA, Burlingame, CA, and Lewiston, ID. As a former public librarian, I think this is very cool.

Book sales on Amazon and Barnes & Noble continue to go up for both print and ebook copies of The Paganini Curse. Teens and adults are enjoying the book. If you’ve had a chance to read The Paganini Curse, please consider submitting a review on Amazon or another review site.

Best, Giselle

The Paganini Curse book launch and contest news

Hello,

February continues to bring good news.

First of all, I’ve received many congratulations on the publishing of The Paganini Curse. Book sales are growing steadily, and I’m planning a series of events to get the word out about the book to a wider audience. As a reminder, The Paganini Curse is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble in print and ebook. I appreciate your feedback and good wishes.

And I’m excited to announce that my Maestro Leloir mystery, Final Adagio, won the Grand Prize in the San Francisco Writers Conference Contest. This is a great honor for me, and great timing as Final Adagio is in the formatting stage for publishing as an ebook in March. Also, there’s literary agent interest, and I’ll keep you posted if there are any further developments.
